One might be tempted to pigeon-hole Steve Forbert as one of the many one-hit wonders from the 80s, and while that might be true to a certain extent, most people know little about his truly impressive songwriting apart from his hit single from 1980, "Romeo's Tune." Forbert's songwriting and vocal talents led many critics to hail him as being a Bob Dylan-esque type figure, and though a few twists of fate may have kept him from becoming as commercially successful as Mr. Dylan, many notable artists like Roseanne Cash, Keith Urban and Mary Stuart still perform Forbert's songs to much success and acclaim.
