Born Isidi Ibrahim, Jean Grae is a hip-hop artist also known as What? What?. Originally hailing from South Africa and now based in New York, the rapper spent much of the 1990s in the hip-hop group Natural Resource. She is renowned for the clarity of her rhymes as well as the personal nature of her lyrics.
