Deeply steeped in the tradition of old-timey bands like Bob Wills and His Texas Playboys, the Marshall Ford Swing Band is an Austin, Texas-based band that plays traditional western swing with the best of them. Named for Lake Travis’ Mansfield Dam, the band formed in 2008. It's fronted by the lovely, effortless singing voice of Emily Gimble.
