The front-man/primary songwriter for Why? and arguably the most famous member of the alternative hip-hop label Anticon, Yoni Wolf has made a name for himself dabbling in various hip-hop, freak folk and experimental rock projects, working with Doseone, Odd Nosdam, cLOUDDEAD and Hymies Basement. Wolf has developed a characteristic style involving quirky, self-degrading lyrics almost akin to slam poetry both rapped and sung, coupled with piano balladry and experimental samples.
