Zaia is a resident show at The Venetian Macau created by the world-renowned Montreal, Canada-based contemporary circus Cirque du Soleil. The production's name is derived from the Greek name Zaia, which means "life," and celebrates the possibility of life existing beyond the Earth through the eyes and imagination of a young girl. Since premiering as Cirque du Soleil's first resident production in Asia, Zaia has grown to become one of Macau's premier performance showcases, as well as another jewel in the crown of the world's most celebrated contemporary circus troupe, Cirque du Soleil.
