Previously known as one half of popular French electronic duo M83, Nicolas Fromageau detached from the project in 2003, eventually partnering with composer Christophe Guerin and producer Jean-Philippe Talaga to form Team Ghost. The trio definitely shares some similarities with Fromageau's former outfit, mainly in the swaths of shoegaze-y synths and layers of ethereal textures, but Team Ghost manages to set itself apart more than enough to survive on its own merit. Droning, slow-building songs are typical of the band's approach, often letting songs stretch their legs to exist mainly on mood and feeling over concise song structure or hooks. You Never Did Anything Wrong To Me, Team Ghost's debut EP, was released on Kiss Me First Records in 2010.
