Visions of Trees is an indie pop duo from London that came about during the summer of 2009 as an effort between two friends to get their musical ideas out into the open. There is a certain level of pride and self-confidence that comes along with making the decision to share these ideas with the world, and despite the duo's proclivity for bestial disguises and poignant photography that seem to consciously mask who they really are, the music of Visions of Trees, on the other hand, drips with the personality and resoluteness made hidden to the eyes. Indeed, where the duo's visual art tends to lose itself in symbolism, Visions of Trees seems to have no problem laying itself bare for its listeners, as its music works to express the hidden dreams of its two members in the simplest terms.
