Lulacruza

Born and raised in Bogota and Buenos Aires, respectively, Alejandra Ortiz and Luis Maurette began making music together under the Lulacruza moniker in 2004 after meeting at the esteemed Berklee College of Music. Equally influenced by the music of their native countries and by modern electronic production, the two musicians blend ambient vocals with South American folk and filter everything through electronic channels. Lulacruza has since relocated to Oakland, California and has become a presence both on the local art scene and in Latin American countries.
