Erasure is a synthpop duo from the United Kingdom that's made up of keyboardist Vince Clarke and singer Andy Bell. After founding Depeche Mode, Yazoo and The Assembly, Clarke joined forces with Bell and introduced the new project in 1985 with its debut single "Who Needs Love (Like That)."
