Black Country Communion is an English-American hard rock supergroup formed in 2009. The band consists of vocalist and bassist Glenn Hughes, drummer Jason Bonham, guitarist and keyboardist Derek Sherinian, and blues rock guitarist Joe Bonamassa. The band has released four studio albums, Black Country Communion (2010), 2 (2011), Afterglow (2012) and BCCIV (2017). The band's sound is a combination of classic rock, blues, and modern hard rock. Their music is characterized by Hughes' soulful vocals, Bonamassa's bluesy guitar solos, and Bonham's powerful drumming. The band has been praised for their energetic live performances, and their albums have been met with critical acclaim. Black Country Communion has toured extensively throughout Europe and North America, and have performed at some of the world's biggest music festivals. They have also been nominated for several awards, including a Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance in 2011. The band has been on hiatus since 2013, but they reunited in 2017 to record their fourth album, BCCIV.
