Middle Finger Salute is a punk rock band from England that was founded by Adam Marsden, Danny Wareing, Alex Kirkpatrick and Miles Starkie. Only teenagers at the time, ranging from ages 13 to 15, the four musicians managed to craft a fast-paced poppy sound for its its 2006 self-titled debut albums, which earned their band a spot on the Easter Punk Feast tour in 2007 along with some of the acts that originally inspired them to create music. Middle Finger Salute subsequently hopped on the festival circuit in the UK and around Europe, playing gigs at events including Wasted Punk Festival and becoming a regular act at Rebellion Festival. The band broke into western audiences in 2009 on the East Coast leg of the Vans Warped tour in 2009, and has since been back to to play South By Southwest. Middle Finger Salute dropped its fourth studio album Old Friends, New Bruises, in 2012.
