Cork was a short-lived rock band formed in 1989 by Eric Schenkman, who was the guitarist for the Spin Doctors, and Corky Laing, the former drummer for the band Mountain. The duo released one album, titled "Out There", in 1990. The album featured a mix of hard rock, blues, and psychedelic influences, with Schenkman's guitar work and Laing's thunderous drumming at the forefront. Despite receiving positive reviews, the album did not sell well and the band disbanded shortly after its release. However, "Out There" has since gained a cult following among fans of 90s rock and is regarded as a hidden gem of the era.
