Al Kooper is an American musician, songwriter, and record producer who has been active in the music industry since the 1960s. He is best known for his work as a session musician, playing keyboards on Bob Dylan's "Like a Rolling Stone" and the Rolling Stones' "You Can't Always Get What You Want". He has also released several solo albums, including his debut album, I Stand Alone, which featured the hit single "This Diamond Ring".
