B.T. Express, initially known as Brooklyn Transit Express, was an American funk/disco group prominent in the 1970s. Formed from the King Davis House Rockers, the band consisted of Rich Thompson, Bill Risbrook, Louis Risbrook, Olando T. Woods, Barbara Joyce Lomas, and Dennis Rowe. With their breakthrough hit "Do It ('Til You're Satisfied)" in 1974, they achieved success and went on to release an album each year until 1978. The group's energetic and danceable music appealed to the emerging disco scene, with hits like "Express." Following label changes and lineup adjustments, B.T. Express continued their musical journey but didn't replicate their earlier success. The band left a lasting impact on funk and disco music, with their catchy tunes and spirited performances.
