American singer Bridget Kearney has been on the scene since 2005. A native of Iowa City, IA, Kearney began exploring her passion for music at a young age. She started piano lessons as a child and took up the double bass while in elementary school. She was a part of the Lutheran Church's Cherub choir and played in her high school's orchestras and jazz bands while also forming her own band. Over the course of her career, Kearney has collaborated with multiple bands such as Lake Street Dive, Joy Kills Sorrow, Cuddle Magic and The Fundies. A prolific songwriter, she has lent her words to multiple artists. She made her solo debut in 2017 with the album Won't Let You Down. Released through Signature Sounds Recordings to favorable reviews, the album included songs like "What Happened Today," "Wash Up," "Living in a Cave," "Nothing Does It" and "So Long."
