Caroline Smith and the Good Night Sleeps

Taking inspiration from modern indie folk stalwarts such as Joanna Newsom and Sufjan Stevens, Caroline Smith pens heart-on-sleeve songs full of fragile emotion and introspection. Alongside her three band mates, collectively known as the Good Nights, Smith's guitar playing and slightly twee vocals help capture a straight-forward but rewarding balance of delicate folk and peppy indie pop that has made the group a hit in its hometown of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
