The idea for the project Boyscott turned to reality in 2015 when Scott Hermo decided to channel his musical experiments. Initially, Hermo created his dreamy, indie rock music alone, but eventually decided to invite his schoolmates Emma Willer, Tiger Adams, John Lewandowski and Noah Miller to join him. Thus, Boyscott grew from a one-man army into a full-fledged band. The quintet recorded and released the debut album Goose Bumps in 2015. With a rotating lineup of musicians and friends, Boyscott managed to play shows and go on tours throughout college. The band's acclaim grew through word-of-mouth and its consistent performances at concerts.
