Overjoy, a dynamic musical duo hailing from Paris, France, and Los Angeles, California, comprises singer-songwriter-producer Lex Famous (Alexis Moraites) and beatmaker and multi-instrumentalist Mettybeats (Daniel Atilano). With a friendship spanning years, the pair unveiled their debut 'Breakfast EP' to critical acclaim last year through Sweat It Out, earning praise from Thump for its "feel-good vibrations." The EP showcased Overjoy's diverse sound design, blending drums, synths, and guitars into their electronic productions. Their live performances are a fusion of vintage synthesizers, drum machines, MIDI controllers, and electric guitar and vocals by Lex Famous, delivering a captivating and eclectic experience. Prior to their debut EP in 2015, Overjoy's singles garnered attention worldwide, receiving regular airplay from renowned stations such as Triple J, KCRW, and Berlin's Nightflight.
