Polo Polo

Leopoldo García Benítez Peláez is a stand-up comedian from Mexico who is best-known under his moniker Polo Polo. After discovering his affinity for humor, he began performing for free in small venues around his hometown of Leon Guanajuato, Mexico, and eventually graduated on to bigger clubs such as Keop Nightclub, where he began selling out nightly gigs during the mid-1970s. As he continued to earn national recognition on late night television shows, he also made his first international appearance in the US. He continued to tour both North and South American into the 21st century, offering his signature, practical joke-driven comedy.
