Gary Jules

Gary Jules is an American singer/songwriter from Fresno, California. Though he was in numerous bands and has released quite a few albums under those monikers as well as solo, his true fame stems from his cover of the Tears for Fears song "Mad World," which was recorded for the the 2001 film Donnie Darko and subsequently featured in countless television series, video games, commercials and documentaries. Jules' style of acoustic singer/songwriter music is quiet and tranquil, entering into folk-rock territory on occasion.
