Oliver Mtukudzi & The Black Spirits was the project of Zimbabwean musician Oliver "Tuku" Mtukudzi. One of the most renowned artists to emerge out of Africa, Mtukudzi was the driving force behind The Black Spirits's energetic, South African pop sound. The band has been inactive following the sad demise of Mtukudzi in 2019.
