Harald Schmidt is a German actor, writer, comedian and entertainer who is most famous for hosting his late night show Harald Schmidt on German television. Schmidt started his career as a theater actor on several stages all over Germany. Later he hosted important German TV shows, such as Verstehen Sie Spass?, and also staged comedy tours throughout Germany. Schmidt is famous for his dry, adroit and intellectual sense of humor.
