Made up of a DJ and producer who consider themselves storytellers able to blend folklore with political commentary, Resident Anti-Hero is both a music project and an ongoing narrative. The duo began its career under the Resident Anti-Hero moniker in 2005 and built a mythological world called Mechanopolis, blending dub, hip-hop and electro with raps about life in this fictional city. Supposed to be understood as an extended metaphor to comment on the state of the real world, the music of Resident Anti-Hero has resonated well with a specific fan base that appreciates the duo's ability to build new worlds with music.
