Winnipeg, Canada-based producer and multi-instrumentalist Mark Penner has years of experience to his name, spending much of his time creating music with various electro-funk and dance music bands, including Moses Mayes and LeBeato. Since 2009, however, he has donned the name Cyclist and began penning solo work, a fusion of live instrumentals, synth and more modern production techniques that root him firmly in the house music scene. Penner also DJs regularly under the Cyclist guise, incorporating everything from obscure disco cuts to contemporary German electronica, but always with the intention to give his audience something to dance to.
