Heartbeat Hotel

Taking their cue from other avant-popsters like Animal Collective and Deerhunter, the four members of Heartbeat Hotel definitely are influenced by these bands, but by no means do they imitate them; Heartbeat Hotel is able to stand apart as a unique entity, creating densely layered, reverb-laden psych-pop with just enough electronic noise and jangly guitars to be danceable. The Toronto-based four-piece formed in 2008, releasing its debut full-length in 2010 to tremendous acclaim from Canadian publications and featured on Canadian radio.
