Papermaps is a Canadian four-piece from Toronto that melds spacey, melancholic guitars with straightforward indie rock songwriting. Formerly known as EX~PO, the group released three full-lengths and EPs before changing to Papermaps in 2010. Despite the name change, however, the band has picked up right where EX~PO left off, crafting tight and densely packed guitar rock that manages to maintain enough bouncy indie pop swagger to appeal to a wide-reaching number of music fans. Papermaps continues to develop its sound through constant touring and has shared the stage with The Black Keys, Tokyo Police Club and Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings.
