Star Eyes, a member of the Trouble & Bass collective, is a club DJ currently operating out of Brooklyn. Raised for most of her life in California, she decided to take her talents to New York City several years into her career after witnessing the strength of its underground rave and club culture. A testament to the philosophies of the Trouble & Bass crew--which she's an important part of--Star Eyes operates with a fiercely DIY approach to shows and parties, and refuses to adhere to spinning within one certain genre. Crowds are likely to hear anything from dubstep and electro, to jungle and house at moment's notice, and it's this ADD-riddled style that has resonated effectively with several pockets of New York's electronic dance scene.
