Initially forming as a duo, but eventually becoming the solo project of Manchester-based producer Callum Wright, D/R/U/G/S has managed to garner quite a bit of underground buzz throughout the UK. Specializing in creating a DIY pastiche of samples full of sparkling electronica, a throbbing bassline and ambient techno moments, Wright has proven himself as an artist capable of diversity but also of tremendous cohesion. While the young producer is still working to truly solidifying his characteristic style, he has already received praise from numerous publications and prominent radio DJs, marking D/R/U/G/S as an artist to keep an eye on.
