After the success of his hip-hop collective Bana Kin, French rapper Youssoupha started a solo career in 2005. The release of his album Eternel Recommencement exploded in the underground French Hip-Hop scene and since then Youssoupha has been regarded as one of France's more respected hip-hop artists.
