Face, a prominent figure in the Russian rap scene, burst onto the music landscape in 2015 with his debut EP, "Cursed Stamp." Since then, he has consistently contributed to the genre, establishing himself as a distinctive voice in rap. Face's music career has been as controversial as it is successful. Known for his profane, sexually explicit lyrics and drug references, his bold narrative has often put him at odds with Russia's socially conservative law enforcement, leading to the cancellation of his concerts. In a bold move against censorship and societal critique, Face released "Пути неисповедимы" ("Mysterious Ways") on September 2, 2018. This politically charged album takes a hard stance against corruption and the prevalent social issues in Russia, a country he has starkly labeled as a "third world country."
