Paper Route

Nashville-based band Paper Route is an indie rock band that was formed 2004. The band creates a fusion of indie rock, post punk and electronic pop sounds best demonstrated on its debut album Absence. Released in 2009 the album earned critical acclaim and peaked at number 13 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart. Paper Route's music has been featured on television shows such as CW's One Tree Hill and MTV's World of Jenks, and the band's track "the Music" was featured on the 2009 film (500) Days of Summer. The band dropped its follow-up effort The Peace of Wild Things, in 2012.
