Cuban and German IDM artist Otto Von Schirach was born and raised in Miami. Unlike most artists in his genre, his music is highly influenced by Miami bass and Cuban salsa music, adding a sporadic and chaotic tone to his DJing style. Along with Djs Mr. Feather and Alligator Jesus, Schirach started the the label TRIANGLE EARTH, though he's released most of his work with the Schematic and Beta Bodega labels. Schirach is very involved with the visual art aspect of his music, working with experimental fine arts groups FriendsWithYou and TM Sisters to create metal-inspired aesthetics to go with his live performances.
