A virtuoso on the saxophone, but also a talented harmonica player and songwriter, Eddie Shaw is constantly referred to as one of Chicago's best living blues legends. His band the Wolf Gang was originally formed by fellow legend Howlin' Wolf, but after his passing, Shaw kept the band going strong, incorporating his son on blues guitar and Tim Taylor, son of Eddie Taylor, on drums. While Shaw has credits recording for multiple respected blues labels in the US, Japan and Europe, and even has starred in films, it is his live performances that have brought him the most acclaim and garnered him numerous blues awards.
