22-Pistepirkko is a Finnish pop act that was formed in the year 1980. The band’s 1960s garage and psychedelic style has had a strong influence on Finnish pop and rock music over the years. In 1982 the band won the Finnish rock band's championship and started singing in Finnish. Its popularity only grew throughout the 1980s, earning it the cult following it now enjoys.
