Wolverhampton, England-born and Los Angeles-based artist Carina Round is a singer/songwriter and guitarist who makes alternative rock music. After self-releasing her first two alums, First Blood Mystery and The Disconnection in 2001 and 2003 respectively, she earned her the attention of Interscope Records, who re-released The Disconnection in 2004 and prompted Round to move to Los Angeles and record her third record. She released Slow Motion Addict in 2007, with an accompanying 12-part episodic series that acted as a visual story guide and earned her immediate industry acclaim within the Los Angeles community. She began collaborating with artists such as The Twilight Singers, Glen Gallard and most notably Maynard James Keenan of Tool on his side project Puscifer. In addition to appearing on three Puscifer albums, Round re-released her debut album in 2011 followed by her 2012 studio album, Tigermending.
