Daylight is a hard rock band from Doylestown, Pennsylvania that was formed in 2007 by four musicians whose unique approach to playing has helped provide Daylight with a characteristic sound that has brought the group acclaim. Playing low profile shows for a couple of years after its conception, Daylight was provided with an opportunity--that acted as a musical boot camp of sorts--to refine its sound and polish its style before entering the studio to record its 2009 debut EP, Sinking. Daylight has gone on to release several more EPs as well as LPs since then and tour nationwide in support, helping bring the group a respectably sized North American fan base.
