Madeline

Madeline Adams, who performs and releases music under her mononymous moniker Madeline, is a folk singer/songwriter who Athens, Georgia who first started her music career by busking on the streets. After being noticed by Matthew Houck, chieftain of the popular indie rock act Phosphorescent, who offered to producer her album, Adams released her debut album, The Slow Bang, in 2006. With an intimate sound that highlight's Madeline's doleful finger plucking style, the talented tune smith has managed to carve out a unique sonic niche for herself in the oftentimes overwrought Athens music scene.
