Zerrin Özer

Meshing traditional Turkish folk and pop, Zerrin Özer has become an icon on the Turkish music scene, even spreading her music abroad to Paris, a rare feat for artists that sing in Turkish. Mostly active in the 1980s and early 1990s, Zerrin Özer took a break from performing but released a greatest hits album in the early 2000s and has been touring, while releasing new music ever since.
