Easily Argentina's most influential rock musician, Charly Garcia became involved with music at an early age--specifically when his mother bought him a toy piano at age three and she soon realized that he was composing coherent and complex melodies on it. After graduating from a prestigious music academy, Garcia became infatuated with The Beatles, after only having listened to classical and folk music his entire life. This led Garcia to form Sui Generis, one of the first Argentinian rock bands to gain success. This led to several more successful bands and a solo project that Garcia still tours as today.
