Old Wives' Tale is a rock band based in Miami that was formed in 2006 by brothers Jaime and Felipe Valencia. The band became a trio when Pablo Toro joined the brothers on drums, adding to the contrasting styles of the band's two-part nucleus. Since the band's debut album Younger Limbs, Old Wives' Tale has been acclaimed for its disco inspired rock music. The Valencia brothers handled and oversaw every aspect of the band's second album, Late-Night Paraphernalia, released in 2011. With the help of Sterling Sound's Senior Master Engineer George Marino, who has worked with band's such as Arcade Fire and AC/DC, Old Wives' Tale's sophomore effort is a compelling and fun combination of blues and electronic rock.
