Kiev

Kiev is an Indie rock act from Orange, CA that banded together in 2007. Southern Californian natives Alex Wright, Andrew Stavas, Brandon Corn, Derek Poulsen and Robert Brinkerhoff create music together in a warehouse that houses all of their instruments, forming a web of equipment. The band's 2010 self-released debut EP, Aint No Scary Folks In On Around Here, captured a bouncing yet cerebral effect that set Kiev apart from the ever-growing indie rock scene. With multiple keyboards and a playful saxophone, Kiev's music cascades into an intricate array of sounds that somehow fit together.
