Based out of Raleigh, North Carolina, The Hot at Nights are a trio led by 8-string guitar virtuoso Chris Boerner. Taking its name from how hot North Carolina can get in the summer, the band plays equally heated music, full of intense jazz free improvisation and experimental grooves. The Hot at Nights is just as likely to lull its audience members into a trance or jolt them awake with a barrage of noise, but always manages to keep the audience interested and enthralled.
