Roberts & Lord is the collaborative project of producer and musician Rafter Roberts and electro/indie pop artist Simon Lord. The duo came together in 2011 when Lord was looking for a new creative outlet outside of his band The Black Ghost and stumbled upon one of Roberts' music videos online. They exchanged messages, ideas and material back and forth from the UK to the US. Roberts laid down and recorded music in San Diego then send it to London where Lord added vocals. Roberts & Lord eventually created Eponymous, an album complete with lo-fi but intricate music and sleek vocals that the duo released in 2011.
