The Dandies is a peppy alternative rock band that comes from Lucerne, Switzerland. The group's sound, an accessible mix of bluesy power chords and glossy garage rock, caught on quickly after it debuted in 2006, quickly leading to opening slots for the likes of Band of Skulls and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. Though some may prefer their garage rock a tad more dirty or raw, there's no denying the polished hands with which The Dandies' members crank out huge, infectious hook after huge, infectious hook in their songs. With a sound that is entirely marketable and relatable to widespread American audiences, it's no shock that the band procured a slot at Austin, Texas's South By Southwest music festival in 2012.
