Hailing from rural Cork, Ireland, the man behind Chymera, Brendan Gregoriy, first became hooked on electronic music after moving to Limerick for university. After graduation he moved to Dublin and threw himself head first into DJing, which widened his base of interest to the techno genre. He began working as a producer and his initial interest in electronica has given way to a full commitment to techno and house music. His danceable, always chill-able tunes were first released on international labels in 2006, marking the introduction of Chymera's presence on the techno scene. He has never stopped evolving and pushing himself artistically and some of his releases have garnered impressive critical acclaim for their stylistic innovations. Chymera's touring route has expanded throughout all of North America, into Asia, and beyond.
