Ich + Ich (engl.: I and I) is pop duo from Germany, consisting of the two musicians Annette Humpe and Adel Tawil. Humpe, who has been a part of the influential German band Ideal back in the 1980s, met Tawil accidentally in 2002 in a recording studio in Berlin. Tawil, best known for his appearance in the boy band The Boyz, and Humpe released their first album Ich+ Ich in 2005 that became a big success in Germany. The music of the duo could be best described as pop-based with a strong influence of soul. While Tawil's duty in the band is mainly the singing, Humpe is occupied with the song writing and producing. So far Ich + Ich released three albums, including their biggest success Vom selben Stern from 2007.
