La Plebe

La Plebe is a punk band from San Francisco that adds horns to a skuzzy, garage rock sound to create a unique, Latin-influenced style of music. Founded in 2001, the group quickly established itself with a non-stop touring regime that often found the band venturing down and playing shows in Mexican border towns like Tijuana, Ensenada, Tecate and Mexicali. Though La Plebe has maintained a fairly prolific album release schedule, the group is primarily known for its energetic live shows that feature band members exerting and straining themselves to the near point of exhaustion.
