HAPA is an acoustic outfit from Hawaii made up of Barry Flanagan and Keli'i Ho'omalu Kaneali'i. Offering a rich, harmonic brand of islander folk music, the duo paints its music with both modern and traditional Hawaiian sounds as well as Americana flavors. HAPA released its eponymous debut album in 1993 to critical acclaim, and went on to capture a national audience with subsequent records including 1997's In the Name of Love and 2005's Maui.
