The rather unique endeavor of Berklee College of Music graduate Shota Nakama, Video Game Orchestra (VGO) is a contemporary classical orchestra that plays versions of video game themes. Comprised of musicians from all over the world, VGO boasts a chamber orchestra, five-piece rock band and a choir. Though based out of Boston, the orchestra tours internationally and has won awards worldwide for its creative and unusual take on classical music.
