New York via Southern California saxophonist David Binney was raised by jazz loving parents on their Miles Davis record collection. Picking up the saxophone early in life, Binney learned traditional jazz then began experimenting with avant-garde compositions - influenced by Jimi Hendrix and Milton Nascimento. Binney performs regularly with his quartet in New York City.
